Description

A powerful spellcaster and wielder of a mystical weapon known as the Keyblade, she was one of three students of Master Eraqus learning to master it. After achieving mastery, she and her friends Terra and Ven became embroiled in a plot by Master Xehanort, Eraqus's contemporary, to reforge the χ-blade^†, the original Keyblade.

Aqua and her friends manage to stop Master Xehanort, but at great cost to all three of them. Aqua ends up trapped in the Realm of Darkness, a barren wasteland of destroyed worlds inhabited by creatures of darkness who want to destroy her and make her one with the darkness. At some point in her eleven years wandering the Realm of Darkness she loses her Keyblade, her primary means of defending herself. Eventually Ansem, a corrupted hybrid of Master Xehanort and her friend Terra, finds Aqua in the Realm of Darkness. They fight, resulting in Aqua being hurled into the dark sea and being unable to resist the overwhelming darkness surrounding her.

That is generally the point in the timeline she will be at when I use her on a prompt, though depending on the prompt she may have been whisked away at different levels of corruption, from the standard kind and calm Aqua with a small amount of gnawing darkness, to full transformation into Anti-Aqua overcome with loneliness and anger.

Hugging: Yes!

Kissing: In a gen/sfw RP, probably only if we're playing out a relationship. In a nsfw RP, we've skipped past that being weird so that's fine.

Flirting: Sure, though depending on the level of darkness I'm playing Aqua at she will either be extremely flustered or dismissive/disbelieving.

Romance: Open to it, but as above Aqua will take some time to open up to that.

Sex: Obviously allowed in explicitly nsfw RPs, otherwise we'd definitely need to discuss first (even if it's a fade to black type thing).

Fighting: Sure!

Injury: Probably fine but discuss first. No eye injuries.

Death: Discuss first.

Mental Manipulation: Sure.

OOC Permissions

Backtagging: Yes please.

Threadjacking: Probably not.

Fourthwalling: Probably not for Aqua directly, but you are allowed to know about the Disney and fairy tale characters she interacts with.

Off-Limits: Eye injury, extensive discussion of harm to children, existential discussions of death.

Shipping: Please do, especially F/F shipping. It is so frustrating that the most reasonable canon F/F ship for her is with Cinderella. I do play Aqua as bi, though.

Tag Style: I'll match whatever you're using, but I generally prefer brackets.

Other: I've only been doing Dreamwidth RP since September 2025, so I will probably still get things wrong.
